Searles Castle, Great Barrington, Massachusetts

Searles Castle, Great Barrington, Massachusetts is a chateau-esque, stone mansion built in the late 19th century.  The substantial property is reported to have over 54,000 sq ft of internal living space (source: Wikipedia).

Originally built and used as a private residence, the castle has served as a private girls' school and then as an academy for gifted teenage students.  In 2021 it was widely reported that artist Hunt Slonem purchased the property.

Searles Castle is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
