Chateau Charmant (Charming Castle) Missouri, is a chateau-esque events venue (which previously also catered for weddings) in Fordland.
'Chateau Charmant is a labor of love for Bob & Bonnie Palmer & their daughter Brittany. After moving to Fordland, Mo. from southern California end of 2003, Robert sent Bonnie a drawing of a castle like home, with the words “I want to build you a castle” scrawled across the bottom. After several objections, Bonnie acquiesced and from that sketch grew Chateau Charmant, inspired by a magnificent 14th century French Chateau. Almost all of the work has been done by the Palmers'. It is believed to be the largest castle built by the smallest crew in the world.
Transport yourself back in time to this family owned and built business. It is a private home a unique place to throw a party, and a wonderful place to visit. Chateau Charmant is truly heaven on earth.'
