Inspired by Lohort Castle in Cork Ireland, this replica Irish castle is located in Wellington, Florida.  A thirty-year project for its creator Bruce Woods, the castle was offered for sale through Daniel DeRogatis of Re/Max in 2021 with an asking price of $825,000. The extraordinary property covers 4,500 sq ft on a generous plot which borders the Wellington Environmental Preserve. 

With crenellations all the way along the roof line (including on the adjacent three car garage) and two towers – each with three levels – the castle is an imposing statement home. The property has numerous other quirky features and architectural elements to strengthen its castle credentials.
