The Kentucky Castle is an extraordinary castle in Versailles, Kentucky operating as a luxury hotel, events and wedding venue and spa.   Originally known as Martin Castle, the property was built as a private residence with construction starting in 1969.

Surrounded by a large, crenellated wall, the stone castle is a very prominent, landmark property in the area.

Our farm to table restaurant sources ingredients from local farms.  However, our goal is to create as much of our food as possible on our 55 acres, and we're actively working towards that goal.  We have plans for an organic garden, apiary, lake for aquaculture, vineyards, fruit and nut orchards, truffle orchard, gourmet mushroom garden, pastureland for cattle, goats, and sheep, and much more. We were recently named the #1 restaurant in KY to try in 2018 and we were also named the #1 most romantic restaurant in the state of Kentucky by Reader's Digest. 

We have private event spaces for small groups such as 15-30 in our bourbon hall, dining room, and music room.  Groups of 75-150 can reserve our ballroom for special events, and the rooftop is an amazing space that can accommodate as many as 350 or 250 for a seated dinner.  The dedicated bar on the rooftop allow for self contained events with everything you need without leaving the roof and missing the sunset or amazing views.  By utilizing our tent and outdoor space we can easily accommodate groups of 1,000 or more.  We have multiple spaces for an absolutely magical wedding or an unforgettable corporate retreat or dinner”.
