NB – Smythwick Castle was sold in June 2021 and it has not yet been confirmed if Smythwick Castle will continue as a lodge and venue.

'Nestled in the Texas Hill Country just west of Austin, Smythwick Castle & Lodge offers overnight accommodations for up to 10 guests. Our country castle lies on over ten acres of waterfalls, ponds and grand old oak trees. Smythwick Castle is a primarily outdoor venue, offering a picturesque setting for a elegant weddings, anniversary celebrations, weekend getaways, corporate parties, long table dinners, and other events.
Elegant stone fireplaces, turrets and a unique old-world brick courtyard with an elegant fountain add a romantic ambiance to any celebration. The grand hall boasts crystal chandeliers, a large stone fireplace, picture windows, and beautiful draperies. Our romantic gazebo, towering oaks, and peacocks add magical elements to your event. After dancing the night away in our fairytale courtyard, you can slip into the hot tub to relax, and find convenience in staying in one of the five luxurious bedrooms. Wake up the next morning to enjoy a wonderful country breakfast.
For the bride who wants a stress free day, we offer customized wedding packages that can
include catering and cakes or others desserts by Bittersweet Cakes & Catering, florals, officiant, DJ, photographer, hair & makeup, standard or vintage china, rehearsal dinners, and ample parking.
Come enjoy the wildflowers, peacocks and our romantic courtyard in the Spring time for your engagement photos Sunday through Wednesday.
