Elda Castle, Ossining, New York is a derelict, castle-like mansion built for David Abercrombie – co-founder of Abercrombie & Fitch.
Constructed in 1929, the medieval-style, stone property was a stunning residence in its heyday – covering over 4,000 sq ft and with magnificent views. Elda Castle has a 5-storey tower which enhance its castle-like credentials.
Sadly the castle fell in to a state of disrepair and as of mid-2020 is in a derelict state. Although in need of complete renovation, the property's overall structure appears intact and together with the nearly 50 acres on which it sits, was offered for sale by Christina DiMinno of Sotheby's International Realty at $3.1m
