Chateau Montelena is a stunning chateau-esque winery in Calistoga, California. Built at the end of the 19th century, the stone structure wouldn't look out of place in the French countryside.
Having produced wine for well over 100 years, the Chateau Montelena brand is extremely well respected around the world – particularly so since winning the coveted 'Judgment of Paris' in 1976.
By advance reservation, tasting experiences are available at the chateau on a daily basis with a limited amount of 'walk-in' experiences on a first-come, first-served basis.
The winery offers a range of membership options, guaranteeing a set number of bottles to each member per annum.
