Castle Mont Rouge, North Carolina

Castle Mont Rouge, North Carolina is a nearly-complete private residence in Rougemont.  The fairytale-esque castle has an elaborate roof with several spires.

The castle has been under construction for a number of years, since 2000 according to the castle's Wikipedia page, and is the brainchild of American sculptor Robert Mihaly.   As can be seen from the video and image above, the owner's design was influenced by Eastern European architecture.
